Infrastructure Week 2020 – Let’s #RebuildBetter

By September 10, 2020News, Outside News

Did you know at least 2 million Americans live without access to clean water? And 6 billion gallons of treated water are lost every day? Inaction is the greatest cost. Inadequate infrastructure costs each American family an additional $9 per day.

Learn more about these startling statistics during Infrastructure Week, September 14 – 21, 2020, organized to raise awareness and address the state of our nation’s infrastructure systems. United for Infrastructure℠ is a non-profit organization gathering American businesses, workers, elected leaders, and everyday citizens to support one message: Let’s #RebuildBetter.

“Americans deserve infrastructure that keeps them safe, creates jobs, eliminates barriers to equality and opportunity, and fuels a strong and vibrant economy. Our nation’s roads and rails, airports and seaports, drinking and wastewater systems, inland waterways and broadband internet and so many more systems are essential to these goals.”

AUC is proud to be an affiliate of Infrastructure Week to help educate and raise awareness on the future needs of our country’s wastewater demands. Join us and participate from September 14-21, 2020, at the signature annual event United for Infrastructure: A Week to Champion America’s Infrastructure.
